Basically, a camera system consists of a camera, DVR, microphone (optional), and cables or wireless receivers. A DVR system takes care of the recording the captured video and audio. A security system also needs cameras and microphones to capture the video and audio signals. Lastly, a camera system needs cables or wireless receivers and transmitters in order to process sending and receiving of data from the site, to the servers.
