A network video camera is camera that doesn't require cables in order to transmit video and audio signals. Meaning, network surveillance cameras can operate via wireless receivers. These receivers transmit the signals from the input devices (IP cameras and microphones) to the DVRs. Furthermore, a network video camera has security features that prevents third party organizations from tapping into the signals.
