Austin LASIK procedures work by first placing anesthetic in the patient�s eyes. An eyelid speculum is then placed on the Austin vision correction patient's eyes to keep them from blinking. The LASIK eye doctor will then examine the thickness of the cornea and put water soluble markings on it.
