Day of the Child Celebration
The 18th Annual Day of the Child Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 24th from 10 AM - 2 PM at City Park (930 E. Sixth Street). Run with the panthers!
The Corona Panthers Youth Track Club, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corp., is proud to host its 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk & 1K Fun Run on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos. Proceeds from this event will benefit the organization\'s scholar athlete youth program and the CNUSD Junior Olympic Track Meet program. Promote a fitness in our community by running with the Panthers!

Cinco de Mayo
The Cinco de Mayo Parade and Fiesta is a long-standing tradition in Corona. The festivities will occur on Saturday, May 1st starting with the Parade at 10AM along Sixth Street. The Parade travels along Sixth St. from Merrill St. to City Park (930 E. Sixth St.) where the Fiesta will take place.

Community Transportation Planning Open House
Open house meetings to discuss the Multi-City Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Plan. Tuesday, April 27 from 5-7 P.M. the open house will be at Corona City Hall.

NEW START TIME FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
Effective on April 21st, the City Council meetings will begin at 6:30pm. The City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in the City Council Chambers at Corona City Hall (400 S. Vicentia Ave.)

Every 15 Minutes
Did you know that every 15 minutes someone dies in an alcohol related accident? The City has partnered with Santiago High School and other local organizations to raise awareness of this chilling reality by staging a simulated accident for students, parents, and the community to experience.
